Saving Hip Hop

We, the listeners, DJ’s, rappers, dancers, artists, writers, educators, students, citizens, parents, employees, employers, watchers, enjoyers, history makers, and general lovers of HIP HOP CULTURE, employ worldwide media and educational systems to do the following:

1. Request and create a promotional push for the established, November HIP HOP HISTORY month.

2. EDUCATE the world, comprehensively, about the history, origin, pioneers, details, legacy, and perspective future of HIP HOP CULTURE.

3. Help to better guide the direction of HIP HOP CULTURE by highlighting and focusing, more, on the little known positive acts and entities of HIP HOP.

MOST PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW HIP HISTORY MONTH IS THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER, OR THAT HIP HOP HISTORY MONTH EVEN EXISTS! HIP HOP CULTURE is an important facet in Black American and American history. Although November has been celebrated and established as HIP HOP HISTORY month for 34-Plus years, by the Afrika Bambaataa and the Universal Zulu Nation, and some educational, media, and other entities, it has not received the nation-wide, nor world-wide, consistent PUSH it deserves. Hip Hop Culture has emerged as one of the few forces, in American Culture, which validates Black Americans, in global society, as birthing a culture, and continuing to rear it; this includes all aspects of it. It helps to defines us globally, whether we believe it, or not!

LET’S CONTROL IT BETTER; CELEBRATE IT IN HONOR, BY WAY OF TRULY EDUCATING THE WORLD ABOUT IT'S BIRTH, IT'S PAST, AND IT'S PERSPECTIVE FUTURE! This petition stands, as written, to request all educational forums and global media to not only recognize, but wholeheartedly market, promote, applaud, and educate constituents about November as HIP HOP HISTORY month, as established by Afrika Bambaataa, the Universal Zulu Nation, and as messaged by us, the people, Global Change Experiences.
